The NFL just handed out a $12,000 fine to Johnny Manziel for his gesture towards the Redskins' bench on Monday. In case you live under a rock, see below:
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport says the Browns rookie QB may actually appeal the decision.
Johnny Manziel is still weighing whether to appeal his $12,000 fine for flipping the bird. #thebird

What would Manziel gain from an appeal?
If Manziel appeals the fine (which is more than $11,025 minimum for the offense), could be reduced to 25% of his weekly check. Or about $6K

Who knows if he'll actually appeal the decision, and if he does, if he'd actually win.
In related NFL appeals news, can we get a Josh Gordon ruling already?
