The Steelers got the ball first to begin the game and quickly marched down the field, but a penalty negated a touchdown and the Browns' defense held them to a field goal, putting them at a 3-0 deficit. The Browns got a big-time throw from QB Brian Hoyer to TE Jordan Cameron for 47 yards, and had Cameron not stumbled, he would've had a touchdown. The Steelers were able to hold Cleveland to a field goal, which tied the game at 3-3.
Pittsburgh then proceeded to abuse rookie Browns CB Justin Gilbert on their first drive, as WR Markus Wheaton twice got separation on him. Then, RB LeGarrette Blount plowed into the end zone for a 7-yard touchdown to give the Steelers a 10-3 lead. The Browns have the ball as we head to the second quarter.
