On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns signed DB Micah Pellerin to a reserve/future contract. Right after the season ended, the Browns signed most of their practice squad and a couple of kickers to reserve/future contracts.
Pellerin was an undrafted free agent who entered the league in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts, but he ended up spending training camp with the Green Bay Packers. He signed to the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad later that year and was finally promoted to their active roster for a few weeks near the end of the 2013 season. He had a brief stint with the Titans in 2014, but finished the year on their practice squad.
In total, Pellerin has played in 8 regular season games, mostly as a special teamer, having recorded two career tackles. The Browns will see what he has in their offseason programs and if he does well enough, he'll have a shot to stick around for training camp.
