According to reports, it appears the Cleveland Browns will be searching for yet another new offensive coordinator. Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com is reporting that the Browns and OC Kyle Shanahan are parting ways after just one season.
Also in the report, Cleveland's QB Coach Dowell Loggains will be departing as well.
You may recall Loggains was the one who said Johnny Manziel texted him during the draft to "hurry up and draft me." Manziel said he wanted "to wreck this league together." With Loggains now out the door, and Manziel's first season, um, tumultuous at best, it'll be interesting to see how the QB situation pans out over the offseason.
This comes on the heels of reports that Shanahan was interviewing for head coaching gigs. Even if Kyle wasn't to get a HC job, it was speculated that he'd look to leave anyways, due to "friction" with the front office. It appears that came to fruition.
Keep it locked to DBN, we'll have more as we know it. What do you make of the departure(s)?
UPDATE (11:26 am): Twitter reports are starting to trickle in with potential replacements. Here's what we're gathering thus far, throw any others in the comments and discuss. We'll update as we go.
