With the Browns having good field position in the second quarter, QB Josh McCown threw a quick sideline pass for WR Travis Benjamin, which CB Aqib Talib jumped for an easy 63-yard pick six, giving the Broncos a 10-0 lead. The Browns moved the ball near midfield again on their next drive, but a third-down sack led to a punt. Denver went three-and-out, giving the ball right back to Cleveland. The offense could get nothing going and punted right back to the Broncos. Rinse-and-repeat, as the teams traded punts once more after that.

The Broncos got their biggest play of the game near the two-minute warning with a 26-yard run by RB Ronnie Hillman. K Brandon McManus missed from 51 yards out before the end of the half, keeping it a 10-0 game. The Browns will get the ball first in the third quarter.
