Cleveland Browns vs. St. Louis Rams - 2nd Quarter Game Thread

After the Browns' defense forced a three-and-out to begin the game, Cleveland was pinned back in their own territory. They moved the chains with two running plays and then threw a wide receiver screen to Taylor Gabriel, which the Rams' defense blew up and knocked the ball away from Gabriel. The easy scoop+score gave St. Louis a 7-0 lead. Facing a third down on their next offensive series, QB Josh McCown was stripped, allowing the Rams to recover from the 25 yard line. The Rams had to settle for a 39-yard field goal by K Greg Zuerlein, giving the Rams a 10-0 lead mid-way through the first quarter.

The Browns are in the middle of a nice drive as we head to the second quarter of play.
