Here is a summary of how the Cleveland Browns are viewed across mainstream media outlets heading into Week 8 Power Rankings of the NFL season.

CBS Sports - No. 27 (Down 1 from Last Week)

It looks like it's Johnny Manziel time in Cleveland. That's a good thing for evaluation purposes.

FOX Sports - No. 25 (Down 4 from Last Week)

With consistent contributions from tight end Gary Barnidge and rookie running back Duke Johnson, the Browns have developed into a respectable offense. With a defense that has allowed a league-worst 151 rushing yards per game, the offense is going to need to do a lot more.

NFL.com - No. 23 (Down 3 from Last Week)

After down-to-the-wire contests against the Raiders, Chargers, Ravens and Broncos, Cleveland laid a brown ... egg? ... on the turf in St. Louis. Penalties, stalled drives and Todd Gurley destroyed the Browns in the 24-6 loss. The four fumbles weren't too helpful, either. This game pretty much sucked for the Brownies.

Yahoo Sports - No. 22 (Down 1 from Last Week)

The Browns got an interception in overtime and returned it to the Denver 39. They then gave to Robert Turbin (?) for a 3-yard loss, took an 8-yard sack, then took a 2-yard sack and a delay-of-game penalty before punting. The Browns never got the ball back. Brutal.

ESPN - No. 24 (Up 3 from Last Week)

Seven touchdowns on 20 red zone trips for the Browns this season. Only the Seahawks have produced a lower touchdown percentage in the red zone.

Covers.com - No. 23 (Down 2 from Last Week)

The Browns defense was supposed to be the strength of the team coming out of training camp, but they’ve been gashed by the run, allowing more than five yards per carry, No. 31 in the NFL.

Listed below is a summary table of where teams in the AFC North are ranked this week.
