On the Bengals' opening drive of the second half, and after getting the ball to midfield, OLB Paul Kruger registered his first full sack of the season, helping lead to a punt. QB Johnny Manziel nearly scrambled for a first down on third-and-long, but after replay review, he was marked just short. Then, P Andy Lee's poor game continued, as he had a 28-yard punt that gave the Bengals the ball in Cleveland territory.
The Bengals drove down the field inside the 10 yard line again. Facing a 3rd-and-2, OLB Nate Orchard read the read-option keeper by QB Andy Dalton and dropped him for a loss. Cincinnati had to settle for a 28-yard field goal to take a 17-10 lead. The Browns went three-and-out again on their next drive, but it included a first-down drop by a wide open WR Taylor Gabriel on what would've been a 20+ yard gain. Cleveland changed field position with Lee's next punt and a penalty, though.
The Bengals got out of a hole with a third-down completion to WR A.J. Green. The Bengals are driving, up 17-10, as we head to the final quarter of play.
