Week 9 NFL Open Thread

The Cleveland Browns are off today after having lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 31-10 this past Thursday. The rest of the NFL is ready to go for Week 9 today, including two key 1:00 PM ET games:

  • Green Bay Packers vs. Carolina Panthers
  • Oakland Raiders vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Can the Panthers remain undefeated after Green Bay suffered their first loss to the undefeated Broncos last week? And, in Oakland vs. Pittsburgh, both teams are in prime position to take control of a wildcard spot in the AFC, so this tiebreaker could mean everything.

At the 4:25 PM ET timeslot, everybody will get to see the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Denver Broncos. In what was supposed to be an epic match between Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck, it looks like it'll be more of the Broncos' defense shutting down a stagnant Colts offense.

Use this open thread to discuss the 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM games. We will have another open thread for tonight's Sunday Night Football game between the Eagles and Cowboys.
