The Cleveland Browns secured a joyous win over the San Francisco 49ers, but bad news did emerge from the victory.
Browns wide receiver Brian Hartline is out for the season with a broken collarbone.
The veteran suffered the injury sometime during the club's big 24-10 win over the Niners. Head coach Mike Pettine announced after the game that Hartline's injury will require season-ending surgery.

Before his injury, Hartline was having a great day. The Ohio State product finished the day with eight receptions for 107 yards.
The 29-year-old wideout ends the season with 46 receptions for 523 yards and two touchdowns.
Hartline expressed appreciation for the outpouring of support after the game.
It is truly amazing the amount of support I've received the last 2 hours from Browns fans, Buckeye fans AND Dolphins fans. Thank you all!

The loss of Hartline is a tough one for the Browns, considering both Hartline's contributions and the thinness of the depth chart behind him.
