On Tuesday, the NFL announced that Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell has been nominated for the Week 14 FedEx Ground Player of the Week. Considering this is the first time a Browns running back has rushed for over 100 yards since Week 5 of the 2014 season (when RB Ben Tate had 124 rushing yards), you can safely assume that this is the first time a Browns running back has been nominated in 2015.
Here are this week's nominees:
- Isaiah Crowell had 20 carries for 145 yards (7.3 avg.) and two touchdowns in the Browns' 24-10 victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
- Todd Gurley had 140 yards on 16 carries (8.8 avg.) and two touchdowns in the Rams' 21-14 win against the Detroit Lions.
- Eddie Lacy had 124 yards on 24 carries (5.2 avg.) and a touchdown in the Packers' 28-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Here were Crowell's big rushes, from 50 and 54 yards:

It's not often the Browns are nominated for offensive awards, so head on over to NFL.com/FedEx and vote for him before voting closes at 3:00 PM ET on Thursday. Note that you need to vote for both a quarterback and a running back in order to cast a vote, and you can vote more than once.
