The Browns went three-and-out on their second drive of the game, thanks to a first-down sack allowed by RG Cameron Erving. On the Seahawks' next drive, they marched down the field in short order and converted with a touchdown pass from QB Russell Wilson to WR Doug Baldwin again. That made it a 14-7 Seattle lead.
On the ensuing kickoff, RB Raheem Mostert had a 53-yard return to sett QB Johnny Manziel up near midfield. A big screen pass to RB Duke Johnson moved Cleveland into field goal range. Pressure from the Seahawks forced Cleveland to settle for a 34-yard field goal by K Travis Coons to make it a 14-10 game. The Seahawks took their next drive downfield, but inside of two minutes, had to settle for a 49-yard field goal to take a 17-10 lead.
That should have been the score heading into the half, but CB Tramon Williams committed a facemask penalty with no time left, allowing the Seahawks to kick a short field goal. Seattle will get the ball first to begin the third quarter with a 20-10 lead.
