The latest Pro Bowl results for the Top 10 players at each position came out today. The same four players are on the list as last time, but several of the players have slipped in the rankings. The updates as of December 9th are below:
- TE Gary Barnidge remains the fourth-highest tight end in terms of votes at 184,567. The players ahead of him include Rob Gronkowski (355,271), Greg Olsen (280,837), and Tyler Eifert (230,169). Eifert continues to pull away from Barnidge, but Barnidge still had the fourth spot definitively locked up.
- LT Joe Thomas has slipped from the third-highest offensive tackle to the fourth-highest offensive tackle in terms of votes at 84,102. Michael Oher (112,464), Sebastian Vollmer (94,274), and Andrew Whitworth (90,438) are all ahead of him, with Whitworth surpassing him in this most recent round. Tyron Smith is in fifth-place (82,747) and could still catch Thomas.
- C Alex Mack has slipped from the eighth-highest center to the ninth-highest center in terms of votes at 60,726.
