Two weeks ago, we noted that it was only a matter of time before Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon had a grievance filed in relation to his Week 17 suspension from the 2014 season. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFLPA has officially filed the grievance on behalf of Gordon:
NFLPA filed non-injury grievance vs. Browns for 1-game suspension imposed on Josh Gordon at end of year that could delay his free agency.

Long story short, if Gordon wins the grievance, he'll be an unrestricted free agent in 2017, and if he loses the grievance, he'll be an unrestircted free agent in 2018. The other day, we also broke down how Gordon's contract with the Browns looks this season and in 2016, and whether Cleveland could go after some of his signing bonus money.
