[DAY 5 OPEN THREAD FOR SATURDAY OF FREE AGENCY]
The busiest news day of free agency for the Cleveland Browns might have been Day 3 on Thursday, but for all the wrong reasons. After fans were generally pleased to hear media reports that TE Jordan Cameron was returning to the Browns, conflicting reports later came out that Cameron was actually signing with the Dolphins. Before the end of the night, Cameron was talking about how he was looking forward to playing with QB Ryan Tannehill. (Sigh)
We're returning for one final day of our live blog, covering short one-liners about the latest small rumors, signings, or trades involving Cleveland or other NFL teams. You should also use the comments section as your free agency open thread! (Newest updates will be at the top of the live blog below)
2015 Browns Free Agency Live Blog - Day 4
For Day 5 of free agency, our live blog is done with, but we still have an open thread up.
4:15 PM: Are the Browns sold on their young, core talent? This is one step indicating that they are.
#Browns & DE John Hughes reached a deal on a contract extension, source said. It’s a 4-year deal worth $14.4M in new money, pending physical

2:33 PM: He wasn't a member of the Browns any more, but was with the team most of last year. FB Ray Agnew has signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
Cowboys have agreed to a two-year deal with FB Ray Agnew, according to a league source. He worked out for team earlier this week.

2:32 PM: More Saints moves from earlier: they signed RB C.J. Spiller.
Saints reached agreement with former Bills RB CJ Spiller. Saints backfield getting crowded: Spiller, Mark Ingram, Khiry Robinson.

2:30 PM: The Saints' fire sale continued as they shipped promising young WR Kenny Stills to the Miami Dolphins. Very unusual approach to the Saints' offseason.
Dolphins will get WR Kenny Stills, Saints get LB Dannell Ellerbe and Miami's third-rounder, per source.

2:28 PM: Very little of this was courtesy of the Cleveland Browns:
Update: in first 48hrs of free agency 66 contracts filed thru #NFLPA. Guarantees: $477.460M. Total value: $1.085B http://t.co/MxrY82srF9
— NFLPA (@NFLPA) March 13, 2015
2:25 PM: The Detroit Lions' defensive line got thinner as the St. Louis Rams scooped up DT Nick Fairley.
Surprise! @Nick_Fairley251 is a Ram!
— St. Louis Rams (@STLouisRams) March 13, 2015
2:22 PM: Recapping a couple of moves in the tight end market: TE Anthony Fasano signed with the Tennessee Titans, while TE Scott Chandler is the newest member of the New England Patriots.
TE Anthony Fasano has agreed to terms on a deal with the Titans, who are bus this morning.
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 13, 2015
Former Bills TE Scott Chandler is staying in AFC East, reaching agreement with Patriots, per league source. Patriots add some TE depth.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2015
2:17 PM: Interest around the league is heating up when it comes to DE Greg Hardy, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. One report says that a team that doesn't want to be identified is interested. There has been nothing connecting the Browns to Hardy, but, the Browns were supposedly one of the teams telling agents they wanted their interest in players kept quiet.
Panthers free-agent DE Greg Hardy drawing more interest than some predicted:... http://t.co/aRn2KPXzq9

9:12 AM: The Browns now reportedly have strong interest in WR Dwayne Bowe. I feel hesitant on believing tweets these days (note: that's a joke; has nothing to do with Adam Caplan).
As others have said, #Browns have interest in WR Dwayne Bowe. My understanding is it's strong interest.
— Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) March 13, 2015
8:04 AM: One team is a bit of a free agency winner (or at least "spender") this morning, and that is the Tennesee Titans, who have signed LB Brian Orakpo and re-signed DE Derrick Morgan.
Brian Orakpo's deal with the Titans: four years, $32 million base value, $35 million max, with $13.5 guaranteed, per source.
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 13, 2015
And things just got more interesting in Tennessee: The Titans have agreed to terms on a deal to retain LB Derrick Morgan, source says.

8:00 AM: ICYMI, Kyrie Irving lifted the spirits of Cleveland fans late last night / early this morning:

7:52 AM: Good morning again, Browns fans. Our Day 3 live blog is here, in case you missed anything from Thursday. This morning, let's start with a few quotes from TE Jordan Cameron's interview on Dolphins.com regarding why he signed with Miami:
Cameron: "They got Suh yesterday, (that's) a big deal. Tannehill is making strides, I'm excited to be here & it's going to be a good thing."
— Miami Dolphins (@MiamiDolphins) March 13, 2015
Cameron on Tannehill: He's young, he's willing to work & puts the hours in..definitely was a big part of my decision. pic.twitter.com/96umfrMRzU
