Donte Whitner Teases Excitement of Browns' Uniform Launch

One of the funny bits of housekeeping that we haven't gotten to yet is the fact that on the first day of free agency two weeks ago, the Cleveland Browns announced that they would be having an "orange carpet event" at the team's new uniform unveiling on April 14th.

The uniform unveiling will take place from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Cleveland Convention Center. WEWS (Channel 5), the new television partner of the Browns, will locally broadcast the event from 7 PM to 8 PM. The Browns have been doing everything possible to keep the new uniform designs a secret, but it seems as though they have given at least one player a sneak peak. Safety Donte Whitner tweeted the following earlier today:

Nine different color combinations likely corresponds to three different jersey colors and three different pant colors. My immediate thought after reading those tweets were, "I'm sure Alec Scheiner is hitting the panic button right about now." Sure enough, no more than a few minutes later, Whitner tweeted, "I've been advised not to say anything else but be on the look out!"
