Maybe Jimmy Haslam is going a tad over-the-top demonstrating that there is no truth to the whole Browns-Titans ownership swap story. As reported by Realtor.com earlier today, Haslam has placed his Knoxville, Tennessee mansion on the market for a whopping price of $4.9 million.
Property records indicate Haslam purchased his Tennessee home in early 1996 for $1.4 million. After almost 20 years and a couple of renovations, the NFL owner has decided to part ways with his historic Tudor. Listing agent Karlyn Reedy of Saddlebrook Realty said the extensive upgrades Haslam made to the nearly 10,000-square-foot home were "attentive to detail" and "didn’t lose sight of the character of the original home."
Selling the mansion in Knoxville could be in reference to what Haslam told Browns reporters at the NFL Owner's Meetings earlier this week:
#Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said he and his wife Dee are so committed to Cleveland they envision living there fulltime at some point.

Back in 2012, the Haslams purchased a mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio for $4.1 million.
