Browns fans who were fantasizing about the thought of DT Ndamukong Suh coming to Cleveland can pretty much forget about it. According to ESPN's Chris Mortenson, the Miami Dolphins will sign the top-coveted free agent to a massive deal when free agency begins this Tuesday at 4:00 PM ET:
Ndamukong Suh will sign with #Dolphins on Tuesday based off parameters around $114 million and $60 million guaranteed, per sources.

At 6 years for $114 million, that would be an average of $19 million per year for Suh and pretty much the exact same contract that 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick received last year. Quarterbacks are the only players making anywhere near that type of money, though. DE J.J. Watt is currently the league's highest-paid player, but he is only averaging $16.67 million per year.
The Dolphins are paying a premium to get Suh, and he'll be a nice anchor for the middle of their defense, but the problem is that he's not the final piece to their puzzle. That type of money should not be invested in one player besides a quarterback, so I'm glad the Browns, presumably, have not been wasting their resources on considering adding Suh to their defense. Go for OLB Jerry Hughes and NT Dan Williams instead, who combined will get much less money.
