This morning, we ran with our own April Fools joke here at Dawgs By Nature. Many other websites also did so in celebration of April 1st, and that includes the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals' "April Fools" joke was at the expense of the Browns' recent logo unveiling, as they unveiled their new logo for the 2015 season:
The article goes on to say, "The iconic orange of the helmet and logo has been energized with a bright, vivid orange. The new color pops against the contrasting black of the classic Bengals stripes." The gag actually sees the Bengals' 2015 logos using the orange that Cleveland had prior to 2015 (in other words, they went in the opposite direction of the Browns).
It'd be nice if the Browns could retort about the Bengals constantly being first-round playoff exits under Marvin Lewis, but that'd almost be like the pot calling the kettle black since Cleveland hasn't made the postseason for over a decade.
The Cleveland Orchestra also poked a little bit of fun at the Browns:
