Tonight, the Cleveland Browns will officially unveil their new uniforms by Nike. Use this as an open thread to discuss anything uniform-related leading up to the unveiling. In the mean time, here is everything we know about the event:
Watching the Event
The Browns are hosting an orange carpet event at the Cleveland Convention Center from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. You can watch the entire event online at NewsNet5.com. From 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the uniform unveiling will also be aired locally on WEWS (Channel 5) in Cleveland.
How Many Uniform Combinations?
The Browns are expected to unveil nine new uniform combinations. This will likely consist of three uniform jerseys, each of which can be paired with three uniform pants. Per NFL rules, "each NFL team must designate a home jersey color by July 1 and must wear that jersey for six of the eight regular season home games." Therefore, we will see one of the jerseys for at least 6 out of 16 games. The other two could be used in the two remaining home games, or the away games. Any of the pants can be used for a game, which expands the team's options.
These 9 Players Are Modeling the Uniforms Tonight
The nine players who will model jerseys include:
- WR Dwayne Bowe
- WR Brian Hartline
- WR Taylor Gabriel
- LT Joe Thomas
- DE Armonty Bryant
- ILB Karlos Dansby
- ILB Chris Kirksey
- OLB Barkevious Mingo
- SS Donte Whitner

Haven't We Seen Uniform Leaks the Past Few Days Already?
In case you've missed it, a lot of people have been leaking a certain jersey style for the Browns the past few days. While a lot of people are buying in to the fact that these are the new jerseys, we're holding out hope that a surprise could still be in store for Browns fans. This morning, the Browns' website said that less than 30 people have seen the Browns' new uniforms (which might be true if you count uniform as the full uniform and not just the jersey). Also, DBN's Mike Krupka is hearing the following:
FWIW, been told the real jerseys have not been seen by public, all imitations so far. Level of detail and tie to CLE are impressive #Browns
