Cleveland Browns Sign 6th Round Draft Pick, FB Malcolm Johnson

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns signed FB Malcolm Johnson on Tuesday. Taken in the 6th round at No. 186 overall, Johnson agreed to a four-year deal. According to OverTheCap's pre-determined draft chart, Johnson's contract will be worth about $2.399 million, with a $119,452 signing bonus.

Johnson was the team's ninth selection of the draft, and the second of three picks made in the sixth round (all of the team's sixth-round picks are now signed). He is 6-1, 231-pounds, and played college football at Mississippi State. He will wear No. 44 with the Browns. Despite being a sixth-round pick, Johnson is the favorite to be the team's top fullback, considering he is the only player with that designation on the 90-man roster.
