The Cleveland Browns signed CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu on Thursday. Taken in the 7th round at No. 241 overall, Ekpre-Olomu agreed to a four-year deal. According to OverTheCap's pre-determined draft chart, Ekpre-Olomu's contract will be worth about $2.337 million, with a $57,300 signing bonus.
Ekpre-Olomu was the team's twelfth and final selection of the draft, and the second of two picks made in the seventh round. He is 5-9, 194-pounds, and played college football at Oregon. He will wear No. 25 with the Browns. Even though he was a 7th round pick, fans and coaches are very excited about the potential that Ekpre-Olomu has. Whether he's able to live up to his "first-round potential" remains to be seen, considering he's coming off of a torn ACL and a dislocated knee. It is also unclear how much, if anything, he'll be able to contribute in 2015.
