The Cleveland Browns signed NT Danny Shelton on Friday. Taken in the 1st round at No. 12 overall, Shelton agreed to a four-year deal. According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, Shelton's contract is worth $11.703 million, with a $6.771 million signing bonus.

Shelton was the team's first selection of the draft, and the first of two picks made in the first round. He is 6-2, 339-pounds, and played college football at Washington. He will wear No. 71 with the Browns, and you can get a glimpse of just how massive he is:

Shelton is poised to be the Browns' starting nose tackle this season, replacing the departed Ahtyba Rubin. Other candidates who could play nose tackle this year include Phil Taylor, Ishmaa'ily Kitchen, or John Hughes.
