Cleveland Browns Sign 1st Round Draft Pick, OL Cameron Erving

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns signed OL Cameron Erving on Friday. Taken in the 1st round at No. 19 overall, Erving agreed to a four-year deal. According to OverTheCap's pre-determined draft chart, Erving's contract will be worth about $9.429 million, with a $5.118 million signing bonus.

Erving was the team's second selection of the draft, and the second of two picks made in the first round. He is 6-5, 313-pounds, and played college football at Florida State. He will wear No. 74 with the Browns. He began working rookie minicamp at right tackle, and head coach Mike Pettine has already said that Erving is expected to compete for a starting role on the right side of the line, presumably replacing either RG John Greco or RT Mitchell Schwartz.
