We highlighted some photographs last night of RB Duke Johnson and WR Vince Mayle at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere. Thursday evening, the rookies were set to get a glimpse of their Nike jerseys for the upcoming season, and they are also expected to model the uniforms over the next day or two.
I was looking forward to seeing how our new uniforms looked on a player when they are actually on a football field, versus being in a convention center where the lighting is dark. When you look at the jerseys for the rookies, though, I'm sure something instantly stands out to you with Johnson's jersey: it's still the old one! The same goes for Mayle's jersey too.

I'm puzzled as to why the old jerseys would be there. On draft day, the new jerseys were quickly ready for first-round picks Danny Shelton and Cameron Erving, so it's not like production of extra jerseys should be an issue. Did somebody really make that big of an oversight with all of this time to prepare? Hopefully somebody catches on to the error by time they are ready for the photo shoot.
