The 18th annual NFL Rookie Symposium kicks off on Sunday, June 21. The symposium is for all rookies who were part of the 2015 NFL Draft class, so the Cleveland Browns should have 12 participants in attendance. Players in the AFC will attend the symposium from June 21-24 and players in the NFC will attend from June 24-27. The four-day orientation will be held at the Bertram Inn and Conference Center in Aurora, Ohio.
The four core values of the league -- Responsibility to Team, Respect, Integrity and Resilience -- will be emphasized to the rookies during the symposium. There will be presentations, videos and workshops on player health and safety, decision making, mental health, substance abuse, finance, building a winning culture and bystander intervention. Among the presenters who are former members of the Browns are WR Donte Stallworth and S Mike Adams.
All rookies will also participate in a PLAY 60 youth football clinic with children from the Cleveland area at the Cleveland Browns Training and Administrative complex (AFC rookies June 23 at 9:30 AM; NFC rookies June 26 at 9:30 AM).
