QB Johnny Manziel was picked off on the first series of the third quarter as he tried to hit WR Brian Hartline on a third down throw. The Jets were already in field goal range and got all the way to the one yard line, where QB Ryan Fitzpatrick hit WR Brandon Marshall on a fade to the corner against CB Joe Haden to give the Jets a 21-10 lead.
The Jets drove down the field again at the end of the third quarter as they tacked on a field goal to go up 24-10. Cleveland will need to rally for two touchdowns and will need to hold the Jets as a defense to get back in the game in the final quarter of play.
