Raiders-Browns Injury Report: CB K'Waun Williams Out With a Concussion

Here is a wrap-up of the injury situation for the Cleveland Browns heading into this week's game against the Oakland Raiders:

• Earlier this week, QB Josh McCown was cleared to return to practice after he passed the concussion protocol. He will start this week over QB Johnny Manziel.
  
  
• The big news this week is at the cornerback position. On Friday, head coach Mike Pettine said that CB K'Waun Williams suffered a concussion during practice this week (they aren't sure when it happened). Williams, the team's top nickelback, has been ruled out.
  
  CB Justin Gilbert was not on the injury report Wednesday because his hip injury is done with, but then he hurt his hamstring and is questionable for Sunday. It is expected that in nickel sets, CB Tramon Williams will shift over to the slot and CB Pierre Desir will play the outside with CB Joe Haden.
  
  
• DE Desmond Bryant has been battling through a shoulder injury the past couple of weeks. This week, he didn't participate in practice at all. If he can't go on Sunday, DL Xavier Cooper will be active, but DE John Hughes would probably be in line to start.
  
  
• The Raiders will be without starting DT Justin Ellis for the second straight week. S Charles Woodson is a bit banged up at his age, but that won't stop him from playing.
