The Browns received the ball first to begin the second half, but went three-and-out. Oakland began their first drive with a 54-yard burst by RB Latavius Murray, putting the Raiders in field goal range before fans could even blink. CB Joe Haden and FS Tashaun Gipson left with injuries on the drive, but Oakland had to settle for a field goal attempt, which K Sebastian Janikowski connected on from 35 yards out to go up 20-3.

Cleveland then tried to operate a drive of their own, slowly moving the ball down the field with a lot of short passes. Off a playaction pass on 3rd-and-1, McCown found TE Gary Barnidge open for a 28-yard touchdown to make it a 20-10 game near the end of the third quarter.

When the Raiders got the ball back, they again moved the ball with a checkdown pass to FB Marcel Reece, and both Cleveland safeties combined to miss the tackle and then watch him rumble for an embarrassing 56-yard gain, again putting Oakland in scoring range. The Raiders have a fresh set of downs in the red zone as we head to the final quarter of play.
