Cuts are starting to flow in across the NFL, including the Cleveland Browns. According to various reports and the players' own Twitter accounts, the following players have already been released by the Browns: WR Josh Lenz, DL Jacobbi McDaniel, DL Dylan Wynn, and CB Joe Rankin.
The most note-worthy release is Lenz. Although it's not a shocker, I thought that maybe, just maybe, he had performed well enough in camp to earn a roster spot on the back end of the depth chart.
Well just got done signing the release papers. Thanks to everyone for support this pre-season! It's been real Cleveland! #DownNotOut

It appeared as though fellow WR Brian Hartline might have been upset by Lenz' departure:
I wonder how much diff a NFL team would look if you asked their professional teammates who they would want to be on the team beside them.

We'll see if the other three players end up on the team's practice squad. Of the other three released players, Wynn seems to be the strongest candidate to be on the practice squad.
