Who is ready to hear some more about analytics? Even though we got to hear a little bit from Executive VP of Football Operations Sashi Brown the other day, neither he nor Chief Strategy Officer Paul DePodesta have had an opportunity to shine in the spotlight during a press conference in Berea. That will change on Thursday, though, when both men will be formally introduced at 12:30 PM ET:
Browns will formally introduce executive VP of football operations Sashi Brown & chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta tomorrow at 12:30 pm

Both men were said to be instrumental in making new head coach Hue Jackson feel comfortable in his decision to join the Cleveland Browns, and Jackson referred to both of them as some of the brightest football minds he's ever met. It will be very interesting to hear what type of questions the local media ask, as well as how specific Brown and DePodesta are in terms of how they will use analytics to their advantage. Brown should also offer an update regarding the team's search for a general manager (or "top personnel person").
