The Cleveland Browns coaching staff is growing rapidly.
According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the club will bring in Robert Nunn to coach the defensive line.
Source tells @NFLonFOX that @browns have hired ex- @Giants defensive line coach Robert Nunn for the same position
— Alex Marvez (@alexmarvez) January 22, 2016
Nunn has 27 years of coaching experience, including 15 years in the NFL. Nunn previously served as the defensive line coach for the New York Giants from 2010-2015.
Before his stint in New York, Nunn worked for the Packers, Buccaneers, Dolphins and Redskins. Nunn also spent 12 years in the college ranks, including some time as the head coach of Georgia Military College, according to Pro Football Talk.
Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot originally reported the Browns would hire Titans' assistant defensive line coach Nick Eason, but Cabot's source was apparently incorrect. According to Marvez, Eason will stay with the Titans and receive a promotion in the process. Eason worked under new Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton in Tennessee.
Nunn certainly has work to do in Cleveland. Former first round pick Danny Shelton received poor marks at nose tackle this season, along with most of the other members of the defensive line.
