According to Football Scoop and then Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the Cleveland Browns are hiring Ryan Slowik to be their outside linebackers coach.
Follow up on @FootballScoop scoop, source tells @NFLonFOX that @browns hiring Ryan Slowik as OLBs coach. He was @nyjets asst dline coach

When defensive coordinator Ray Horton was with the Browns in 2013, he had an outside linebackers coach and an inside linebackers coach. Over his past two seasons in Tennessee, he only had a linebackers coach. The designation of "outside linebackers coach" for Slowik would lead one to believe that the team will also hire a coach for the inside linebackers.
Slowik has experience working with Horton, as he was his defensive quality control coach for a couple of seasons in Arizona. He was Horton's outside linebackers coach in 2012, but stayed in Cleveland from 2013-2014 as a defensive assistant/defensive backs coach. This past season, he was an assistant defensive line coach with the New York Jets.
