The Cleveland Browns can scratch one of their head-coaching candidates off their list, as the Miami Dolphins reacted swiftly in naming Adam Gase as their new head coach.

Gase was the first candidate the Browns interviewed back on Wednesday, but Cleveland has a larger pool of candidates they are still pursuing. The candidates they've yet to interview -- Matt Patricia of the Patriots, Hue Jackson of the Bengals, and Sean McDermott of the Panthers -- are all in the playoff hunt, so the Browns know they aren't going to lose out on all the candidates out there.
