Groves was a second round pick by the Jaguars in 2008. From that time through 2015, he bounced around many other teams, including the Raiders, Cardinals, Browns, Texans, Titans, and Bills (as most recently as 2015).
His stint with the Browns came in 2013 under Ray Horton, when he was signed as a rotational pass rusher. He played in 5 games with the team and registered 2 sacks before having to be placed on injured reserve. Groves had heart surgery back when he was trying to get drafted, but doctors at the time said he was 100% healed.
RIP.
