On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns provided a couple of updates on two of their injured offensive linemen, OG Joel Bitonio and C Austin Reiter. Let’s start with Bitonio, who Mary Kay Cabot says had surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury on his right foot.
Browns OL Joel Bitonio underwent successful foot surgery Monday. He's expected to make full recovery by start of 2017 season.

After playing all 16 games his rookie year, Bitonio’s season was also cut short in 2015, when he only played in 10 games before landing on IR. He’ll be entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2017, so Cleveland could be looking to extend his contract this offseason, guaranteeing him some money as a high-value player who might have a lower market value due to his injuries.
The team confirmed that Reiter had surgery to repair his torn ACL. Both Reiter and Bitonio are expected to be ready for the start of the 2017 season...and with how bad C Cameron Erving has looked, Reiter just might be the early favorite to start next year if he comes back strong.
