Before and during today’s game against the New England Patriots, a couple of...somewhat unusual tweets came out regarding how high the Cleveland Browns are on WR Terrelle Pryor. Let’s start with what Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said before today’s game:
#Pats had a chance to sign Terrelle Pryor & know they erred. #Browns see him as so valuable he’s a rare player they won’t consider trading

While the game was going on, Courtney Fallon of the NFL Network went a step further, saying that Pryor is “the only player on the Browns who is absolutely untouchable.”
Per source, Terrelle Pryor is the only player on #Browns that is absolutely untouchable. They'll trade any All-Pro, not him. Value too high.

Considering that Pryor is a free agent next year, that would seem to indicate that the club plans on trying to lock him up to a long-term deal.
If we put this in to perspective a little, it could just mean that the Browns are more willing to listen to trades that can have a really high return -- for example, they know they can get a first-round pick and more for LT Joe Thomas. Something lesser might even still be true for CB Joe Haden. However, teams aren’t going to fork up something significant for Pryor, and Cleveland is probably trying to send the clear message that they aren’t looking to dump Pryor for whatever they can get.
