Defensive Line

In his first five games, Ogbah had a total of two quarterback hits. In eight games since then, he has 12 quarterback hits. His 4.5 sacks lead the club. All I wanted to see this season was some growth from a few players, and Ogbah is one of the success stories. Shelton continues to rack up a ton of tackles for a nose tackle. Remember Nassib's one hustle play from behind? That was his only tackle of the game.

Collins has played five games with the Browns, and he is fourth on the team in tackles. His 15-tackle effort helped, although PFF says many of them were clean-up duty downfield. Johnson had a nice sack+fumble early on. When he beats his man outright, he can lay the wood on a quarterback.
Inside Linebacker

It's unusual to see Kirksey, the team's leading tackler, finish with just 3 tackles on the day. Davis, who saw much fewer snaps, had 7 tackles.

The "safety" numbers are a bit off because I still have Tramon Williams at cornerback, but he played some safety this week. Reynolds continued to be steady, which is what I'm looking for to help evaluate other players. I think the lack of bleeding has safety has helped guys like Ogbah, Kirksey, Collins, and Nassib be able to make some more plays.
