The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers were a combined 1-27 heading into yesterday’s NFL action. I picked them both to emerge victorious, and stunningly, they both did! So, Cleveland not only prevented the stigma of a winning season, but they preserved their spot at the top of the draft. It was enough to make Joe Thomas cry during Hue Jackson’s post-game speech:
"This one's for you."

I’d like to wish all of our readers here at Dawgs By Nature a Happy Holidays! I know it has been grueling for all of us to see the Browns’ long losing streak, but it got pretty tough for me not being able to blog about a victory, preseason or regular season, for over a year. It is truly a joyous time!
There are two NFL games today:
- Ravens vs. Steelers, 4:25 PM, NFL Network
- Broncos vs. Chiefs, 8:30 PM, NBC
You can use this as an open thread throughout the day to discuss the holidays or football.
