Hue Jackson Doesn't Want to Talk Johnny Manziel: I Want to Focus on the Positive, Not the Negative

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

First, it was Sashi Brown throwing shade on Johnny Manziel on behalf of the Cleveland Browns organization. Now, new head coach Hue Jackson is joining in on the fun too. TMZ Sports asked about Manziel at Jay Glazer's Glazer Palooza charity event on Wednesday, and here is what Jackson had to say:

"To me, there's so many other things to talk about. That's not my concern right now. We have so many other great things going on with our organization -- hiring a staff and getting our players ready to go. I want to focus on the positive, not the negative."

The reporter then asked, "So it's a negative situation, in your opinion?"

"Well, I'm not saying that. Obviously it's been negative in the media. I'm going to deal with the positives with our football team. We've got a lot of great things going on and I think that's what important to focus on."

TMZ Sports then told Jackson they were going to shoot him straight, and flat out asked, "Do you want Johnny Manziel on your team next year?"

"That's not the point, that's not the point. It's not the point for me to talk about whether I want Johnny Manziel or not. That will all take care of itself at the appropriate time."

Does he have a future in the NFL still?

"Johnny Manziel has to determine that, not me."

Yep, he's gone.
