For the 50th straight season, the NFL's championship game did not include the Browns.
Despite the Browns lack of involvement, Super Bowl 50 proved to be a fun event. The Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers, 24-10, sending quarterback Peyton Manning into the sunset with a Super Bowl ring and plenty of Budweiser beer.
Browns Twitter enjoyed the eventful night, particularly the players. Andrew Hawkins and Mitchell Schwartz tweeted the most, but plenty of others chimed in.
Before the game, several players tweeted out locations and predictions.
Hawkins spent the day in sunny Florida (jealous):

And Mitchell Schwartz saw the game in New York City with his new fiance:

Pretty excited for this game. Hate east coast time zone for sporting events, always want them to come sooner. Not sure who to pick though.
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 7, 2016
I was 0-2 picking the last round. My brain tells me Carolina but my heart wants Peyton to win and ride off into the sunset in style.

Meanwhile, offensive lineman Michael Bowie deflected one Twitter user's declaration that Manning looks like Woody from Toy Story.

Several players tweeted analysis throughout the first half.
I’d have to image they have a lot of chips from TE/RB or guys lined up close to Ts. Even that presence affects OLBs. https://t.co/n5afKCmsoz
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 7, 2016
2 things I think Carolina needs to see in the 1st Q: 1) How the OLBs play the read option. 2) If they go spread from base personnel (1/2)
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 7, 2016
…does Denver rush their OLBs and play single high, or drop the OLBs in coverage and rush 3. Not sure what Wade Phillips has in mind. (2/2)

Cam might want to take the gum out and put a mouthpiece in. Especially with TJ coming downhill like that

Who said Von Miller wasn't the best defensive player in football this year? Lies
— Johnson Bademosi (@j_bademosi24) February 8, 2016
Carolina is known for that DBL A-gap blitz. Speed of their LBs allows em to blitz fast or fake and get into coverage.
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 7, 2016
Is using your last challenge worth only 5 yards? Seems like a poor tradeoff for the opportunity for a serious game changer later on.
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 8, 2016
Carolina’s pass pro being challenged like they haven’t seen yet this postseason. Pressure getting to Cam before guys getting open.
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 8, 2016
Following the game, Browns players expressed happiness for Peyton and the Broncos and empathy for Cam Newton and the Panthers.
Do you know how many are people are happy Cam lost.. A lot more than the people that are happy to see that the Broncos won
— Mike Bowie (@ThankGod2day) February 8, 2016
Active players can't advertise alcohol companies. Peyton definitely retiring. Definitely getting a check from Budweiser.
— Andrew Hawkins (@Hawk) February 8, 2016
Emotionally this is very satisfying. Always loved Peyton and what he’s done in and for the NFL. Hope he retires and has the perfect send off
— Mitchell Schwartz (@MitchSchwartz72) February 8, 2016
Fun game. Dominating defense can be entertaining to watch too. Thanks for all the interaction as always and for all the new followers!

Time to get ready for Super Bowl 51 dawg pound! #browns
— Mike Bowie (@ThankGod2day) February 8, 2016
We can hope, can't we, Browns fans?
And to finish off on a positive note, Danny Shelton got a new puppy, and it's absolutely adorable.
Mojo-Jojo is ready to fly to his new home in Ohio. It's time for Daddy to get back to work. Go Browns! @ta__Mara pic.twitter.com/ehYSrNIhzC
