• Moore's contract only includes $400,000 in guaranteed money, which is his signing bonus. This is the definition of a "prove it" deal after he signed a 3-year, $12 million deal with the Texans last season, but failed to live up to expectations.
  
  
• The good thing about this type of deal is that the Browns don't have to worry about risking a compensatory picks. Players are only counted toward the compensatory pick formula if they became a free agent because of an expiring contract. That wasn't the case with Moore -- he was cut by the Texans this offseason.
