In what is one of the biggest trades in the past few years, the Tennessee Titans have shipped off the first overall pick. In all, the Los Angeles Rams will be sending six picks to the Titans in return for the first overall selection and two late round picks. Here is the full breakdown, via Ian Rapoport:
#Titans receive: 2016 15th - 43, 45, 76; 2017 1st Rd and 3rd Rd
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 14, 2016
Rams receive: No. 1, 113, 177.#blockbuster
This is easily the biggest trade since the infamous RG3 trade of 2012, coincidentally also involving the Rams. It's not entirely clear whether the target of this trade is Carson Wentz or Jared Goff, but most seem to think Wentz is the favorite to end up in LA. This has huge implications for the Cleveland Browns draft strategy, since they are no longer guaranteed to land the quarterback of their choice, assuming that was the plan before. It's tough to assess the fallout of this move right away, but it certainly makes the upcoming draft a lot more interesting.
