Danny Shelton Changes to No. 55, and a Full List of Other Browns Jersey Changes

On Monday, leading up to the start of voluntary veteran minicamp, the Cleveland Browns announced jersey numbers for their new players, as well as players who were with the team in 2015 and changed their jersey number.

Returning Players With New Numbers

NT Danny Shelton is now No. 55 (previously No. 71). The number became available when C Alex Mack signed a free agent deal with the Atlanta Falcons. Shelton hopes to find some way to make it up to fans who bought his jersey as a rookie.

WR Terrelle Pryor is now No. 11 (he was No. 17 during the regular season last year, but was No. 87 during camp). The number became available when WR Travis Benjamin signed a free agent deal with the San Diego Chargers.

WR Darius Jennings is now No. 17 (previously No. 10). It is believed that QB Robert Griffin III compensated Jennings in some fashion to obtain No. 10, and Jennings is taking the number that Pryor had last year. For all we know, though, Jennings might have preferred No. 17 to No. 10, even without Griffin being in the mix.

S Ibraheim Campbell is now No. 24 (previously No. 30). The number became available when DB Johnson Bademosi signed a free agent deal with the Detroit Lions.

RB Raheem Mostert is now No. 25 (previously No. 41). The number became available when the team waived CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu recently.

Free Agency Additions

QB Robert Griffin III will wear No. 10.
The number was previously worn by WR Darius Jennings.

ILB Demario Davis will wear No. 56.
The number was previously worn by ILB Karlos Dansby.

S Rahim Moore will wear No. 20.
The number was not worn by anybody last year.

OL Alvin Bailey will wear No. 78.
The number was not worn by anybody last year.

ILB Justin Tuggle will wear No. 52.
The number was not worn by anybody last year.

OLB Jackson Jeffcoat will wear No. 91.
The number was not worn by anybody last year.

TE Chad Ford will wear No. 87.
The number was not worn by anybody last year.
