With the the top OTs off the board and only Paxton Lynch left at QB, this seems like the perfect spot for the Jets to look to trade down.

That being said, trading down isn't an option, and if you hold your nose just right, the Paxton Lynch pick isn't so bad. He's a big guy with solid athleticism, "he's a winner," and he's the last girl left at the bar. Am I convinced that Lynch will really be any better than Geno Smith? No. And more than that, I'm pretty well convinced he'll be solidly worse than Ryan Fitzpatrick. However, when you're QB hungry you have to start throwing darts at the wall. I briefly considered going BPA but for me its Doctson, and would've probably taken Ragland if he were still available, but the glaring need here is very clearly QB. Best of luck, Pax.
