With the No. 138 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected TE Seth DeValve (6-3, 245 lbs) of Princeton. He was the team's fourth selection in the fourth round.
Gary Barnidge is coming off of a tremendous season, but there's nothing wrong with having two potentially explosive tight ends. There is a lot of upside with his athleticism.
The #Browns just took the FCS Rob Gronkowski in @PUTigerFootball's Seth DeValve

Seth DeValve is a WR/TE/HB tweener (6-2, 244). Tested well at 4.68, 40-inch vert, 10-5 broad, 6.96 3-cone. No surprise CLE goes Ivy League.

CBS Sports' Dane Bruglar pegged DeValve as a 7th-round pick (as a tweener WR/TE), but didn't have a write-up on him. He supposedly had very good numbers at his Pro Day, better than many tight ends at the NFL Combine, which gave a bit of a late boost to his stock: "He had best the jumps, shuttle run, and 60-yard dash and second best 40 and third best bench press across the board." In six games last year, DeValve caught 33 passes for 337 yards and a touchdown.
What do you think, Browns fans?
