Browns Draft Picks 2016: Select WR Jordan Payton at No. 154 Overall

Glenn Andrews-USA TODAY Sports

With the No. 154 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected WR Jordan Payton (6-1, 207 lbs) of UCLA. He was the team's first selection in the fifth round.

The wide receivers keep on coming. The team already selected WR Corey Coleman in round one and WR Ricardo Louis in round four, so Payton is the third receiver taken. The likes of WR Taylor Gabriel and even WR Terrelle Pryor might have a tough time making the club in 2016.

Here is a scouting report from CBS Sports' Dane Bruglar, who pegged Payton as a 6th- or 7th-round pick:

A three-year starter, Payton steadily improved his production each season, leading the Bruins in receiving the last two seasons – 40 career starts on his résumé, including 33 straight. He is a reliable possession receiver with strong ballskills and a good-sized catch radius, not allowing traffic to disrupt his focus. While dependable and a smooth athlete, Payton isn’t dynamic, lacking explosive traits or body twitch to consistently create his own separation or be a threat as a ballcarrier, which will limit his ceiling at the next level – day three option due to his size and hands to be a trustworthy possession target.

What do you think, Browns fans?
