With Jacksonville drafting my first choice, DeForest Buckner, that left me with only one choice for who the Ravens should take with the 6th pick, and that's Vernon Hargreaves III. The Ravens' secondary was ravaged last year with injuries, with Will Davis and Shareece Wright suffering torn ACL, and not having any corners to help replace them caused a lot of problems for the defense. Currently on the Ravens' roster, there are only 7 corners and out of the 7, Kyle Arrington maybe the only lock to start, leaving an opening for Hargreaves to fill. With drafting Hargreaves, you will get a corner who posses a combination of "quickness, balance and route-recognition to excel in coverage with rare physicality and open-field tackling ability," as noted in his draft profile and holds a comparison to former Gator/Current Browns player, Joe Haden.

I believe Hargreaves will have an immediate impact for the Ravens' defense. With players like Martavis Bryant, Antonio Brown, and Martavis Bryant in the AFC North, the Ravens are going to need a player like Hargreaves considering there only other option for a #1 corner is Kyle Arrington, and he will turn 30 before the regular season starts.

The Ravens are a mess on both sides of the ball, and I don't see last year as a one-year fluke for Baltimore. The Ravens definitely need some help in the secondary, but it seems like the AFC North has had a bit of trouble developing young cornerbacks. I really don't know what the right play is for Baltimore this year.
