Former Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine has no reason to get back in the NFL anytime soon, but that doesn't mean he can't rub elbows to see where he could have a position in the future. According to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, Pettine was a guest at two of the team's practices this past week.

"He’s out of work right now, and he was a coach’s kid, so he’s been around the game his whole life," Reid said. "All of a sudden now, he’s got a year here where he can go around and visit friends."

Reid added that one of the big reasons Pettine was visiting Chiefs is that their defensive coordinator, Bob Sutton, worked under Pettine when they were both with the Jets. Reid also said that he is familiar with Pettine from when he was a high school coach from 1997 to 2001, a time when Reid was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

In other Pettine-related news, Cleveland Scene reported last week that his Strongsville house is up for sale. If you're wondering how a Cleveland head coach might live, here's your chance to look through all the photos and see.
