I can scratch A.J. Stamps from the training camp safety preview that was coming in a couple of days.
While Josh Gordon has been banned for over a year, he has not counted toward the team’s 53- or 90-man roster. With yesterday’s news, though, the Cleveland Browns announced today that Gordon is officially back on the 90-man roster.
All of the youngsters in camp had to be nervous, knowing that they could be going from getting ready to participate in an NFL training camp to being on the outside looking in right as everyone’s camps are starting. That victim is Stamps, a safety out of Kentucky who was signed as an undrafted free agent back on May 5th. The team still has seven safeties in camp competing to make the roster.
